Newb from Michigan
I'm from Southeastern, MI and been riding dirt bikes since I was 15. (38 now)
Currently have a 2018 YZ450F and just picked up my first Harley. 2015 Street Glide Special with 58k miles on the clock
My friends have always had street bikes and or Harleys... I've borrowed bikes and when on a few rides with them occasionally. After sitting on the side lines for this long I'm finally ready to add a road bike to my stable. What kick started this decision was my recent divorce which I just settled July 31st.
Another reason I haven't had the urge for a road bike was my Dad was killed on his 2000 Fatboy when a drunk driver ran a stop sign back in 2003. Soon after this happened my Mom sold her 2002 Sportster and quit riding. It's dangerous out there with all the clowns driving around now-a-days, however, I realized motorcycles are one of the few things I can say I actually love in life. I've waited 20 years and I'm done waiting. Here she is:
Looking for groups to meet up and ride with. I live in Lapeer County, MI
Also looking for help with an odd issue I'm having with the front rotors on this bike but that'll be in a different thread I just bumped back up to the top back from 2020. (Link ---> https://www.hdforums.com/forum/touri...washers-3.html)
