I got a 1996 xlh883 from my buddy. Orignally to have mellower rides than I get on my zx6r. Now im having a hay day with mods. My work bench has 1275cc big fin jugs and 10.5:1 rectangle dome pistons from hammer performance. A mikuni hsr42. 6 1/2" risers and custom shaped buck horn bars. Forward controls and unfortunately for most I had to have 1 3/4" laf drag pipes with thunder torque inserts. This is how she sits after I first cleaned her up.
