Hello, all. I am brand new here and just coming off of putting a ton of miles on a Ninja 250R. I am so glad to finally be on a Harley!!! I have a 1988 883Sportster. It has a Johnson Engine Technology (J.E.T)1200 conversion in it that was done in 2001. The bike has 10K miles on it total and since the conversion it has had 200 miles!! It has a ChromeMikuni 42mm carb and a Supertrapp 2 into 1 exhaust with a high performance ignition module. The bike has a fair amount of chromeon it.Its an extremely fast bike. I am told it is around 90hp and it certainly feels like it. Anyway.. I need to get new tires because the bike sat in a garage for the past 6 years and they have some dry rot on them. It is a 4spd chain drive and the Dunloptires on it are stock as are the aluminumrims. I also need to change the regulator because it isn't charging the battery. I did all the voltage tests and I narrowed it down to the regulator.
