2002 was a good year,last year of the forged lower end with the Timken tapered main bearing.
That makes it a great candidate for chit canning the only weak point the chain drive and swapping in an S&S gear drive cam set.
Once it's set up no more worries about cam chain tensioners and you can select a mild cam like a 510 that will give you a bump in torque.

I want to find all the parts cheep and clean them just enough to run. A real rat rod you know but prefect running!
