Hi there!
I'm picking up my first Big Twin this afternoon. I've ridden bikes for 35ish years, but this'll be my first Harley.

My name's Rob & I'm in middle Tennessee. Moved here from the UK in 2009 & just started back riding 3 years ago. I've always had old Japanese bikes & worked in the industry for about 10 years as a mechanic, parts manager, custom builder & various other jobs as & when I could get them!
I've built several custom bikes over the years, from low slung hardtail chops, to screaming streetfighters & everything in between!

After tooling around on an old Yam XS650 for a couple of years, the bug finally bit hard & I started looking for a project. I've landed on this gorgeous '99 FLSTC that I'm planning on gently & reversibly modding to my tastes. I do have a bunch of questions, so please bear with me & forgive me for asking dumb, probably obvious questions!

I hope you continue to enjoy your ride here.

Only as a suggestion, by me as a USER, create a signature line similar to my one line on my bike information.

The year, model, and all the letters Harley assigned to the bike. It will appear at the bottom of your post.

Doing this will be helpful if you ask a question. All Harleys aren't the same with many changes and variations over the years.

Of course, you can add it to any thread with a question.

You can also add any other details you choose and a favorite picture to the signature line.
