My favorite ride was my "55 FL Hardtail with wide glide and 16" tires. I bought the bike when I was 19 and for years ran a heel-toe suicide shift. My friends used to tease how they had an easy ride for over 6 hours on their soft tail frames. I explained that my scooter was a time saver and a 2 hour ride was like riding for 8 hours. A non-stop I took from Orlando to Dallas seemed like a week. Still enjoyed every minute. The rigid made for a lot of memories (and a herniated disc).
