thanks - for the warm welcome...

really quick - can i post this here?
Ever since i installed an aftermarket tach ('bout 3 wks ago) both security and engine indicator lights go ON at the same time when ignition is turned on, (normally, engine indicator light only comes on and then off, after i have pressed the run button).
is ths bad? Any implications later on? Otherwise everyting runs just fine. I will just get it checked on next service date.

Bike is '06 883L converted to 1200.
