Thank you for the layout on the mission of the birds. It was wonderful. I seem to remember back in the early 60s when I was attached to the pad at Sherman Field , NAS Pensacola FL we used to get P2V birds in from Whidbey Island on patrol, who used to stop in to see us, drop a part unto the concrete from a scaffold under the engine,say oopps, call in to get a replacement part, and go to the beach and stay drunk, till the replacement part got there. Man I watched this show so many times it was a riot. Funny how it works. T.J. It used to take at least 3 days for the part to arrive.

Hey Man good looking scooter. I lived in PNCLA about 3 years from 63 to 66 over at the navy base. Theres a pizza place on the left just before the bridge to the base that sure got a lot of my money for a long time. Fantastic pizza. Thanks for the welcome. T.J.
