First of all let me say THANKS for what you do to keep us free and safe. Second welcome to the HDForums. You will find a world of information and bunch of friends. Third: ride what you feel confortable riding and can afford. A Sportster (1970 XLCH) was my third Harley (first was a 250 sprint, second a 350 sprint). I move up to a 04 Dyna Super Glide in December 03. Both sportsters are still in the family (70 XLCH given to my oldest son and the 94 Sportster to my youngest son). Ilove my Dyna, but still enjoy a ride on my youngest son's Sportster. Last, I spent 4 weeks in Huntsville in 1972 (training in transistor troubleshooting at Redstone). Man we had a great time. Anyway, WELCOME to the forum from Jacksonville Florida.
