I'm a Long time reader of this forum, posted only a few times. I've been thinking about getting into motorcycle riding for a year now. Finally went doewn to the dmv office today and pasted the writtern test. I got two answers wrong. That's o.k, I wasn't looking to ace it, I just wanted to past with a good score. Now at least I can say I have a motorcycle permit. Out in the car I stared at the permit for 5 minutes couldn't believe it. Have to wait another four months until the snow melts, then I'll take ther riders edge course.
I remember getting my bike license 28 years ago. I took the auto written and driving test in the morning, then drove home, got my KH250, rode it (illegally!!) back to dmv, took the bike written and riding test, and was on my way.
Thank you everyone for the congrats. There are wonderful folks on this forum! The bike I would like to get is one of the dynas. Thought first of a superglide custom. Told the sales guy I wanted highway pegs on it and he told me the lowrider comes with highway pegs, so I'm not set on a bike yet. Once I get to that step hope I can test ride some bikes. Looking around the showroom floor I wouldn't mind having a bike of each model. The dynas look to fit my style and personality. Thanks again !!
Welcome!! Glad you found the forum. Congrats on the new permit, first step on a great journey. Good luck on bike choices, it's always tough to narrow it down!
