How's your tour been? I was stationed at Camp Zama for 4 years, left in '06, great place. great people, and a many of themappreciate quality over there and ride harleys. will live there again given the opportunity. wish i had the bike while there, lots of great places to ride.
Spent some time at Misawa TDY. Nice little base, nice area, Aomori prefecture, if I remember right. Been TDY up to Sapporo once, also beautiful. you've probably seen our hawks when we've been up there at Misawa, you all usually let us park inside due to weather. I agree, the blackhawk, of course i'm biased, is an awesome machine. even with the government going with the "lowest" bidder, here we are 30 years later with the blackhawk, and still going strong with her. Even the old alpha models are still putting out some power. probably the best helicopter ever made for what it does, again my bias. Enjoy Misawa.
