to introduce myself i will say my name is Tom i am 45 y.o. i have been riding since i was a kid...mostly dirt bikes
but last year @ thxgiving i bought my first HD..a 1995 883..w/9,000 miles on it (now has 16,000)
..candy apple red...mustang seat..screaming eagle slip-ons...
i live in central florida...have all my life...and just last year went to daytonabike week
for the first time..as i swore i would not go until i was riding a Harley!
had a blast..and ever since have been visiting our local biker oriented establishments
poker runs and such...and having the time of my life!
also have become a Legion Rider..and been on many runs with that group
really good people..and i am proud to be a part of them..
have already been given a "biker name" i went riding with some friends
on a Fri. night..they took off haulin butt...75 miles an hour down U.S.1..in the middle of town
in a 40-45 mph speed limit..i will only MAYBE do 5 mph over...so they got to our destination way ahead of me..
so i was given the "biker name" of "Slowride"
well..i guess that's as good an introduction as i can come up with right now
I look forward to meeting you all..and having some great conversations on here..
