Hey everybody! The weather kinda sux here in DC\MD\VA, but still riding my first brand new bike, and its a Street Glide! To say I like this bike is a major understatement! Clutch is easy, transmission smoother than some other Hogs that I have ridden, and after a seat swap, my butt, as well as my girlfriend's, is happy! Looking forward to warmer weather, and to Myrtle Beach. Just saying Hey, and hope all of you had a nice Holiday!
Welcome to the forum, Alex. Congrats on the new Street Glide. Nice to have a couple of "happy butt's" adding a smile to the forum.

Well, we know what a SG looks like so how about some pictures or your girlfriends butt? JUST KIDDING...please don't yell.
You're dang lucky to have such a great bike. Pretty soon someone's going to ask you to post some pictures of it...might as well be me.
This is a great forum and we have a lot of fun here. Welcome from Colorado.
Asked about pics of Girlfriends butt, and she said no way.... Just kidding. About asking, not her saying no way... Don't think I wanna go there. As far as the bike, I need to wash the bike this weekend, and I will post some more pics. Got busted this morning by my neighbor... I was going out through the garage to take out the trash, and stopped to admire my new toy... I musta stood there too long, cuz my neighbor starts whistling and yelling at me to wake up and go to work!! I really do like the color of this bike! All my vehicles have names, and the Glide's name is Mona... Not sure how we came up with that, but that's her name.
Next Friday, the motorcycle show is coming to town, so we will be hanging out there, checking out all the new stuff, and looking at chaps. Anybody else in DC MD VA going? We are gonna go Friday afternoon, and prolly hang out afterwards for chow and a beer. If this burger joint called Matchstick is still there, we are gonna have dinner there... Good stuff.. I go to the motorcycle show every year, this will be the first year that I go having a bike at home that is completely running and ready to go! Woooo hooo!
Any ladies out there have recommendations on leathers? My Girlfriend is tall (5'10) and like me, (6'2) needs stuff that runs a little longer. She needs a good jacket and some chaps. I have a Vanson jacket from my sportbike days, but thinking about looking for something a little more scootish.
Anyway, long azz post.... Happy Friday everybody, and thanks for the welcome!
Well, I'm a 5'10" lady, and had to buy the men's to get enough length. I picked the HD basic skins chaps, they don't look to dude-ish when they're on. I hate looking like a dude, so I found that if you do want the ladies styles, you may have to find a leather shop for some custom work.(kinda pricey) I'm still trying to find a vest that actually comes down to the belt line and is NOT a men's design. no place for a chest in a men's vest. Any way, good luck, and share info if y'all find something incredible out there.
