Thanks for the kind greetings! Today was the best day in weeks and weeks. Temp in Central Il got up to around 50 and I was able to get Ol Leroy out and ride about 100 miles. Was afraid the salt on the roads would really trash the bike, but cabin fever got the best of me and I had no choice but to ride.I was pleasantly surprised when I got home to find it wasnt bad at all. About 30 min polishing up the chrome and it is good to go. Even fired up my lady's Sporty and put a couple miles on it just to stretch its legs (she doesnt do cold well at all). What a GREAT day!! even topped it off with dinner at the Beef House just over the border in IN. If you familiar at all with central IL, I'm sure youknow the Beef house.

Hope a lot of you got to put a few miles behind you today.

Check out the Great Lakes section, there is a HDF Midwest Rally being planned for this summer in Effingham.

Welcome from Central Missouri. And yeah, I rode yesterday also. Loved it, and if the wind isn't blowing to hard I'll ride again today.

So much for riding for now in Illinois. Geezzz, yesterday at 2pm it was 59 deg, at 4pm it was around 20 deg and freezing rain. Now were supposed to get 9 inches of snow tomorrow night.
Guess last Sunday was a gift from God, just to preserve sanity of bikers stuck in the cold.

Hope you folks in warm states are getting in lots of miles.
