Just joined today so guess I should introduce myself. I ride a 2006 Softail Deuce, which I really enjoy. I bought a used onelast Julywith hardly any miles on it. I have put over 3K miles on itand for the riding I do most, it is perfect. I started riding back in 1965 on a250 BSA and have had8 other bikes over the last 43 years withthe biggest street bikebeinga BSA 441 Victor thumper. I then drifted to the dirt side of riding on a 400CZ and Suzuki RM400 down in the Anza Borego Desert in Southern California for a number of years and then followed the moneyto Maryland.From 1986 until 2007, I did not ride, but finally retired andbought a Harley.After riding 230 lb dirt bikes, any HD felttop heavy. I convinced my wife that I would not be popping wheelies onthis bike or riding like I did when I was 23 yrs old. So far so good. So that's me and I joined to learn about grouprides, common issues and problems, and how to do things from others who have been there and done it.I am honored to be a member.
