Thanks for all the input. I have ridden bikes for years, mostly dirt, rode an 06 1200 C and 98 Electra Glide. I just need to put my butt in a few seats I guess and see what I need. Thanks again.

I was in the same boat. I didn't have much experience either. I was looking at both a Dyna and Sporty. I went with the Sporty due to the type of ridding I will do. Mostly weekends, and around town. Not going to take many long trips. Take the class, and see if you are able to ride both than decide. Both are great bikes, and you will have a blast. Welcome to the club, and post some pics when you get the bike.
