Just a friendly hi
Just wanted to say hi and introduce myself since I just joined the forums. My name is Ted.
I bought a 2000 Road King Classic last July (2007) from an individual who had bought it new.
It had been sitting in his garage for 7 years...had 203 miles on it...!!!
Still had the original oil in it along with the original tires of course.
Luckily he did go out and start it every couple of weeks or the engine most likely would have been shot.
Of course I changed the oil as soon as I got it, but I'm still running the original tires which are in good shape.
I now have 3900 miles on it...I refuse to let it sit in my garage...weather permitting.
Looking forward to reading all the comments and suggestions. Forums are always a valuable source of info.
