Default Newbie from Downunder

Hi Members

Found this forum by accident, but it looks pretty informative at first glance.
Last month I picked up a new 2008Road King Classic, black of course. This is my second Harley, recently sold my 2003 Anniversary Softail. It was a great bike but I wanted something more suited to touring.
First changes have been done on delivery, S&S Slip on Mufflers, K&N Filter and chip download. Also got a backrest for the wife, and a carrier behind the backrest. Have had the first service, 1600Km and have now clocked up 2300km.
So far I'm very impressed, love the 96cubes, makes up for the extra weight compared to the Softail, the 6 speed together with cruise control makes long distance riding a breeze. Oh yeah, I'm now a screen convert, also makes riding more pleasant.
Will post some pics when I see how it all works.

TC
