hi all, i more than likely live on the other side of the world to most of you people, but i'm glad to be here. i test drove 4 bikes today, and its down to a "fatboy"or a "softail custom"!.....well ....i'm from australia...ya know ...wide open sweeping planes etc, etc. my shortest ride on any given day would be about 250-350 miles....i love riding.......... my current bike has foot boards (running boards, not foot pegs ), now the "fatboy" has boards and the "custom" has pegs, which would you guys consider better for long distanceriding? thanks. looking forward to reading and hopefully contributing more on this fantastic forum
"cheers"
