Just thought i'd say hello. Just bought myself an 08 Street Bob. It's been a dream for 20yrs and now that I'm 41 i thought ... what the hell! Its still at the dealer getting a few "extras" I waited 20 years ... no harm in waiting another week or so. I would like to ask one question and i hope i dont get flammed for asking here. I would like know what the proper break in time is? Thanks in advance^^

Enviros: Congrats on getting your new Street Bob and first bike! The owners' manual will recommend a break in period. On the 2007 Touring bikes it is the first 500 miles. It may be different in 08. Welcome to the Forums.
