First Harley
Hello all.
I stumbled across this site while searching for creative ideas for my bike. So far it has been one of the most interesting forums I have ever read. My name is Jeremiah, I am 31 years old married and living in Michigan.
I have wanted to buy a Harley since I came back from Iraq just over a year ago, but our finances didn't really fit that picture quite yet. While searching for an upgrade to my 4x4 pick-up, I realized that if I bought a bike I could get the both of best worlds, gas money and the enjoyment. I decided on the 2008 1200 Custom Sportie mainly because of the price to be honest, but it also fits me well being 5'5". The way the bike is set up off the show room floor really sold me, with the forward controls, chromed out and the FI is great too.
The bike is black, and I have added Rush pipes with a stage 1 and air cleaner. I have just started to add the Willie G. Skull collection around the bike as well. Next: Windshield and saddle bags.
