Introducing Me !

Hey folks they call me Cougar . This name was given to me by a bro (Bear) back in "92 , since then anytime I've been introduced it's been as Cougar ! The world lost Bear Dec.27, 2004 due to the Gov's. wanting to reduce the money they spend on their Veterans by changing his meds to a cheaper one causing him to have a massive asthma attack and pass away (May he rest,ride in peace!) , 'nough said! I was born May 19,1961 in Georgetown,Ky . When I was 13, I traded my Schwinn Stingwray for a single cyl. 90cc Harley that didn't run, then within about a month I found another just like it in someones trash (to be thrown away (WHAT) ) , yeah that's what I said , so I went up to their door and askif I could have it , they said load it up so needless to say it left with me!!!! So between the 2, a minimum amount of tools, no manuals I was able to build one that ran . Unfortunatly the parents moved to California and with no room for it I had to let it go . Road dirt bikes for the next couple of years . Then moved back to Ky . Then I road jap bikes till I got my next Harley in 1983, that was a 1981 XLH Sportster, loved it ! Road it for a while , then went for a few years without . Then 2 years ago I purchased my newest baby, a 1995 FXD Superglide with 22,000 mls on it. Sweet ! Pretty much stock with a few chrome items (those will go) ,I plan on it being black and orange when i'm done, I added a set of Real Harley-Davidson leather saddlebags I picked up at a local flea market years earlier ! Saw them on a table ,ask the guy how much ? He said 25$ and ask me what kind of bike I had , I said none right now, but I will again !! So I bought them. I'm one of those, jack of all trades kinda guy, can do just about anything ! I've worked in machine shops ,built houses , worked in a H-D dealership (Danville H-D , Danville,Ky)that has since closed (shame) . Also operated heavy equiptment at a rock quarry ,dozer, 35 ton Catapiller haul truck, Ingersall Rand drill , wheel loaders . Whew ! I've also been a mechanic and most recently worked for 3 years in a welding fabrication shop , that was an experence I enjoyed very much and taught me a lot that I plan on using the future, found the amazing world of welding (coool) !! That's most of my past , so here are some of the current stuff . Married (21yrs), own (well me & the bank) 69.82 acres , Fords andI seem to get along so that's what I drive that has 4 wheels. I do mechanical and some welding (I have a small stick welder)for folks I know .I liketo build (create) things , figure out problems, and even invent stuff although i havent sold any of my invention yet , but who knows ! Well I think I've rambled on long enough for now ! So here I am ! Maybe I'll add something later , if you have something youwant ask , let me know!! ...cougar...P.S.
