Well the check from my Credit Union came in todays mail. I put the bike on hold a week ago and took the add-ons list into the dealer on Thursday. They're still waiting for two items they had to order. They're installing all the stuff that I buy with the bike for free...unfortuneately they wouldn't include exhaust kits or Stage 1 type upgreades, so they'll just have to wait. We're not far from Milwaukee. (Halfway between Chicago and St. Louis) so the're predicting within a week or so. I'm getting an '05 Dyna Super Glide in Vivid Black.
I was up most of the night one night last week trying to make that final decision. Came dwon to the Super Glide, the Sportster 1200C or the Softailor Night Train. A Road King might have been my ultimate choice, but couldn't stretch the money that far. Decided that for the money, this was the best bike for me.
My dealer's having an open house on Sat. March 26th and a Blessing of the Bikes. Sure hope my ride's ready by then. They'll also have Easter eggs with various %'s of discounts on goodies on that day. If I get a good egg, wonder how much more I might spend??? Just excited. This is my first Harley and needed some folks to share the news with.

AceArt, thanks for sharing your excitement with us, I know the feeling having just got my first Harley last October, I do believe you made the right choice and won't be sorry for the investment. May you have many many safe and happy miles with that smile from ear to ear.

Sounds pretty awesome, March 26th will be here before you know it. I love getting new stuff for the bike and tinkering, putting it on, and watching the bike "grow". Seems like that's where all the extra cashola is going right now. Post some pics of that baby once you get it.

Congrats~~ I think the SuperGlide is the best "bang for buck" in the line-up of the twin cams.

Congrats Ace.Youe made a good choice the dina glide is an awsome bike I know toy will enjoe and I get excited just knowing their is gonna be another Harley on the road.Can't wait to see it.
