Default Introduction and Question

I am in the market for a new Harley Davidson and am looking at the Dyna Wide Glide or the Fat Boy. Also undicided on either Carb or FI. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks Joe

Welcome. I don't know what to tell you other than try to rent one of each and then decide. Also EFI or Carburator is a personal choice and depends on a lot of different things. Wish I could help more, but...[sm=americanasmiley.gif]

Joe, Welcome to the Forum!! You are going to get a lot of opinions on the questions you asked!! I personally have an 05 Heritage with a carb and love it!! There are pros and cons of both I would say, some guys love the FI and some love the carb. As far as the two bikes I think it would be smart to try them both out first and see what you like. If I was just riding solo I would have went with the Dyna Wide Glide "love that bike" but for riding two up I like the softail a lot more. For the amount of money your about to spend, make sure it's what ya want!!!! "Just my 2 cents"

Thanks for the welcome. I know I should ride both but in the area that I'm in that is almost impossible. I know it will come down to MY preference but thought I would get some pros and cons on each ride and on both the carb and FI

Thanks, that's the kind of imput I'm looking for. The Wide Glide was my first choice but the salesperson at the dealership is talking me into the Fat Boy. Or should I say is trying to talk me into it. Anyone else have any imput to help me make up my mind.

The Low Rider was one of five that I started out with but have come down to the Wide Glide and the Fat Boy. Not a new rider here. Been riding for about 10 years. Am old though. Thanks for your input.
