I bought a Road King in April and that was the first bike I've ever owned or really ridden. \\; You'll learn a lot in the class but just remember that passing it doesn't mean you're ready to go out and tear it up. \\; It provides you with the basics. \\; Take it easy and ride within your abilities. \\; Oh, and does your wife have a sister?

Good Luck from another newbie in Yorktown Heights NY.
Got my RKC after not riding for almost 30 years.

Did you get a new Road King? Got mine in 05. It is a 02 with lots of bells and whistles. Only thing it won't do is pay for my kids college tuition.
