Default Thundermax install

Just ordered a couple Thundermax EFI units with autotune for '08 Screamin' Eagle Springer and '08 Fat Bob and printed the manual on the Thundermax website (all 161 pages). Now I'm scared! I'm a little mechanically minded but the length of the manual scares me. Has anyone installed one of these on an '08 bike and if so how long. My HD Dealer has never done one so he won't even quote it. If anyone has installed this can you give me a ballpark on how long it took and how many knuckles were busted in the process?

Installed my own last year. Took about 3 hours and that included taking the e xhaust system off (which may not need to be done, I just did it to make sure that I would not have a problem with the OEM O2 sensors). Hardest part was locating where the rear O2 sensor wire ran and what it was tied off to. I could probably do one in 90 minutes now, and that is up and running.

I installed mine in one evening. The manual is straight forward. follow the install directions and the initial map install. Then read the rest and take it in a little at a time.
