I recently hopped back on a saddle after 20 years away. In that time I had been bicycling with numerous trips topping the hundred-mile mark. I suppose those efforts are equivalent to an "Iron Butt." My local dealer handed me the keys to a brandy new bike even after all those years and I'm glad he did. The first test ride was white knuckle scary. 50 mph in a full-face helmet felt like a 100 to me. The Nightster rides lower to the ground than either of my bicycles or my lawn mower and 30 mph on my bicycle felt damn fast. The second outing hinted at why I wanted to ride again. Third time was the charm. 50 miles later I pulled back into the dealers parking lot. What do you think he would have said if I hadn't said I own it?
2800 miles into it now and smilin.
Happy Trails

Tucci, I snorted Diet Coke through my nose, I was laughing so hard. I think everyone can relate to how fast it seems you are going on your first ride on a bike. But I loved the mental picture of the bike being lower than your mower! That is a classsic!
Welcome aboard, and please consider taking the MSF Course.
I take the MSF class on Saturday. Never too old to learn some new tricks.
I know Plant City, I have worked the Stawberry Festival there for the last two years.
