If your going to sit in traffic it might be a good idea to get the fans. In the summer around here it takes about a half an hour i traffic before my deuce gets overheated and starts the processes that the new bike does to help it cool.( lower idle, misfire etc.). It has done that too me twice. I don't ride to work so i just avoid traffic now. The humidity with the heat can play havoc on trying to keep these bikes cool around here when you are in traffic.
Other than traffic you should be fine stock. Next oil change go with synthetic oil. It does not brake down in the heat like conventional oil does. I also change my oil every 2500 miles not 5000 like Harley recommends. I change oil myself so cost isn't that much.
