My name is Vic. I'm a US Army mechanic stationed in Augusta, GA. I'm not really new to the Harley world. I grew up around them. I just got a 1978 XLCH 1000. The bike needs some work. It runs fine, but there's something wrong with the clutch. I'm picking it up either this weekend or next. At my Dad's advice (he has a 2003 Screamin' Eagle Roadglide) I've decided to take it to the dealership and let them fix it. I'm really looking forward to getting it rebuilt.
I've been riding pretty much my whole life. I spent a few years in the cager world, but motorcycles are in my blood. I also have a 2008 Kawasaki ZZR600. My wife rides a Vulcan 500. Looking forward to all of the great information I will undoubtedly recieve here.
