Hello fom the UK, just bought my first Harley, love this bike (06 fatboy). Tried out various HD models but kept coming back to the fatboy,so I finally put my hand in my pocket & bought one. 1100 miles on it now & loving it ,Will be taking it around Scotland in May so will get to know it better then, I just know this bike is going to be around my garage for a long time.
Prior to this bike, had all sorts from jap to british, & latterly bmw.
With riding bm's have got used to a screen for 70mph plus work.
Now for my question, could any of you knowledgable folks tell me if the National Cycle switchblade screens & fitting kits are good quality kit or is the HD detachable screen & fittings better engineered & worth the extra cash. The bike cost me enough so it'll be a while before I can afford the HD screen but the National cycle is more affordable
Good forum folks , lots of good stuff on it.
