Thanks for the welcome, folks! I think it's so great, hearing from people from so many different places.

I'm in the San Fernando Valley, and yes, the weather has been fantastic. I've logged about 800 miles in a little less than two weeks. Going to put another 500 on her Sunday -- taking the interesting route up to Pismo Beach and back.
