Get the 09 because of the new features. Just get some goodies for free on the deal and close it. I'd recommend some chrome highway pegs, detachable backrest, service manual and the first 1000 mile check-up. Don't forget to negotiate your dealer discount 10 to 20% off all things you buy there as long as you own your bike.
