Welcome to the forums from Tennessee. If you get the Nightster, have FUN!! I'd ride mine all day if I could (but the mom bit gets in the way of that!).
I just got back from Iraq & brought a Fatboy as a present to myself for keeping all my limbs. About a million years ago (ok 15) I got my start on an old iron spotry (1000cc), but after 6 months I wanted a bigger bike. Just something to thinkabout before you drop the cash. Who you with out there?

Glad you are back. I am with the 159th AVN BDE. I am at Bagram and yes I am thinking about a bigger bike already.
I am torn between the Nighster as a fun to have bike, then the Street BOB as a cheaper kind of what I really want and then there are two models that I really like and those are the Softail Deluxe and of course the Fat Boy.
i really don't know what I am gonna do, but on R&R I will most likely rent all of them in that particular order and if everything goes well I will be able to decide right then.
I was mostly concerned about my height but all of those bikes seat at 25.4 incehs off the ground so I will be good there.
Hey all of you guys thanks for the warm welcome and great wishes. I really appreciate that.
