Hey guys new to the forum obviously. Just stopped by to let you know I bought my first Harley last may, a 2008 Crimson Red Denim Street Bob. Until now it has been bone stock with the exception of a few cosmetic changes, smoked lenses and smoked led tailight.
A little background I live in Rhode Island (no it is not part of New York, thats Long Island). I recently decided to go with big radius pipes, heavy breather intake, and a Screaming Eagle race tuner. I am a little concerned it is over the top.
Anyway I have been making the pilgrimage to Laconia, NH since I got my last bike, a 2002 Suzuki Volusia, VL800. I must admit I was a non-believer but I was forced to take a ride on a 2007 Fat Boy last year and I was hooked. Consequently, I repaid the favor to a friend who inturn bought an 08 X bones.
Welcome from central Washington. You've arrived at the best forum around. More to learn and read here than anywhere else, plus great people. Glad to have you. Geezer
