Nice upgrade. My mom went to Sturgis last year on her 1200 Sportster and on the way home, she stopped off and had my dad buy her a Softail Deluxe. She loves it. Good idea to make the trade up BEFORE the long trip... not after like my mom. Welcome from Los Angeles.

Just got a 2008 Deluxe, I "graduated" from a '06 Sporty that I rode fror 3 years (and loved every minute of it) -- going to Sturgis this year so I wanted a more of cruiser.
Looks like there's a lot of great info to be found here .....
