I have 1998 fxstc, would like to know if a front end off of a harley duece woulbe a simple change over to the older softail

Let me first qualify by saying I'm not a motorhead. However, my way of thinking is that if your change includes the triple tree, then it would depend on the size of the fork socket.

Howdy Robert and welcome to the Forum and definitely re-post this question in the Tech or Harley General threads. You'll get more answers there. since most of us don't look for tech questions in the New Member Forum.
Don't take this as criticism, you should have seen all of the times when "Pilot" one of the moderators moved my questions around until I became familiar with the Forum.
