Hi all, I'm a European who ended up in Malaysia by way of the USA (New York). My first bike was a beat up 1970 Moto Guzzi, replaced that one with a brand new FXR Lowrider in 1991. Got a Ducati M900 in 1994, moved back to Europe in 1998, took the bikes along. Sold both bikes in 2003 and replaced them with a BMW (first an R1150RT followed by a R1200GS) ... Sold the BMW in 2007 when we planned to move to Malaysia (can't import bikes here without a lot of hassle). So been without a "real" bike for the last 2 years ... (oh the agony!)
Currently ride a locally made Demak DMX (hey I only payed $US 1250 OTR for it and it's a blast on the little kampong roads here) ... BUT the good news it ... on Tuesday, May 26th, I'm off to the HD dealership in Kuala Lumpur to get me another HD ... (Bloody taxes here ... a HD Fat Bob costs about $US 35,000!!!)
Still have to make up my mind if I want another Lowrider or if I should go for the Fat Bob ...
