Would you believe it, viewed the Harley, it's perfect, paid a deposit, now...
It's raining cats and dogs, thunder and lightening, with snow forecast for tommorrow!!! Why me, Lord? Can't wait to ride it and send in some pics, but I guess I'll have to be patient for a few days. Could only afford liability insurance and don't want to go pavement surfing first ride out! Thanks for all the welcomes, will kep in touch.
Welcome again... Ahhh.. the Blueridge Mountains... When the weather is nice (?) riding would be wonderful!!!
Just watch out for those SUV's and Truckers that like to cut across on those blind corners!!
(p.s. It is windy here today!! OK, it is 90 degrees, but it is windy!)
Welcome! Your weather forcast sounds just like the weather here in central Indiana. And as an insurance agent, I am going to recommed splurging for full coverage. It's cheeper to pay it monthly than to come up with the cash to repair the bike in the event of an accident.
I know the new bike/rainy forecast feeling. We've got rain due in this weekend in NH. You could be like Clammy and just bundle up in your gear and be a tough guy. Or patiently sit and watch the weather channel all weekend looking for a break in the precip. The choice is yours.
Howdy smudge and welcome to the forum. It's a bummer to get a new toy and not be able to go out and play with it. The weather will get better. Heather is right about the insurance. I've found some insurance quotes at Progessive that were very reasonable. You might think about it, because repairing a bike could cost more than you would save on not having enough insurance. Enjoy your visit.
