Take the MSF, it is well worth the money and it was actually a lot of fun. I took the 3 day MSF and was happy I did it even though it rained on me most of the time (50 deg weather). I ended up picking up my Iron down in Springfield for MSRP out the door and was thankful I took the course in the rain because 30 min into my ride back to Kansas City it started Poring!!!! First time on a bike on a road ever and I survived, in part, due to the skills I learned in the class. Oh yeah... open face helmet too... no fun.
