Well, I picked up my new RG yesterday, everything is fine, ride, handling, etc. But, I got the shakes.
I know HD is famous for the vibration, but I feel as though I'm in a cement mixer, really.
Is this just because it is new and it will smooth out?
I tried the search area but couldn't find an answer.
The virbation is extreme when stopped and doesn't calm down until I get to at least about 20 mph.
Even my friends who ride a Heritage and RK agreed.

Howdy, welcome to the forum. When I got my first Harley, I noticed things about it also. Since I had questions about it, I just talked to the dealer and he answered my questiions. For the money that we have to pay for these bikes, it never hurts to ask the dealership all the questions that you can, that's what they are there for. Good luck.

 

Sounds like a bad motor mount. Mines a smooth as a baby's butt
