Sorry everyone. Joined sometime in June of '08 and spent a lot of time reading threads but not posting much. Anyway, I like to wrench on Harleys - especially Evos, Shovels and a recent Pan - and the talent/knowledge on this and a few other forums is great. Bartended, bounced, and wrenched my way through college WAY too long ago and landed a "tie" job in computers and healthcare. Never got away from the bikes or the grease though, and I tend to throw a denim jacket over my dress clothes and pull into the hospital pking lot on one of my bikes every chance it get. When employees see me in public they usually do a doubletake since I'm wearing jeans, boots, Harley T's or sleeveless shirts showing my tats rather than dress clothes. Have an '09 Twinkie (SG), an '80 FLH, and a '55 Pan I recently acquired. Gone but not forgotten are a '77 FXE, 1996 Ultra, 1997 Wide Glide, 2000 Fatboy, '02 Wide Glide with 18" Apes (My Fave), and a custom chop that I had a great time building.
For grins I'll post pics of the first chop I ever built from the frame up (A used Rolling Thunder frame I found on the Internet for $1000), my '55 Pan chop that I currently have my hands greasy with, and a '69 Nova that the family and I used as our "Ice Cream Getter" - 468 cubes with a blower, 600 HP, and street legal.
Take care everyone - I'll try to post more often!
