Hello from Oregon and we hope you are enjoying that new Sportster! You might look at the various quick-detach upright sissy bars from Harley and consider a luggage rack, too. There are plenty of other suppliers out there besides H-D, and you might save some money to be sure. We have used T-Bags for many years and they are the bag of our choice.
Just joined hoping to get some great advice from all the pro's. I've wanted a Harley since I was 3 yrs. old!! and I finally got my dream at 32 years old. Bought an 09' Iron 883 a few weeks ago and love it! Fits me great since I'm small in stature. I am still getting set up as far as gear goes. I need a good jacket, better gloves and eventually a better helmet than I have now. Got to keep saving up! So any experienced advice would be most appreciated. Also need a bit of storage for trips to the store/gym and what not. Don't like the look of saddle bags, any suggestions? Thank-you!!!
I"m from the factory, and we've been trying to find you, your bike has been recalled.
I have a Licks solo bag on my Sporty and a fork bag that are for small things. Can't fit much of anything into either. A friend of mine gave me a bag to attach to a luggage rack but I don't have a luggage rack yet! haha! So if you have to bomb around town and need to lug stuff around, get geeky and use a backpack. That's what I do.
