Hi folks,
I just ordered my first Harley, a new 883L Sporty.
I'm only 5' 2" tall an I got two compressed vertebrae in my neck from a motocross accident many many years ago.
I've been riding big jap sports bikes for the last 20 odd years but as the neck pain had been getting steadily worse as I got older,
I found I was riding less and less every year.
One of my mates got a Sportster a while ago, an he's been bugging me for ages to have a ride on it, so last week I finally gave in.
We swapped bikes an did over 200 miles up into Scotland, around the Lake District then back home through the Dales.
Near the end of the trip I realised that I colud still move my neck!!
At the weekend I went up to Just Harleys in Newcastle an traded in my FZR1000 for a spankin new Sporster.
I'm gonna pick it up in a fortnight, an I really can't wait.
I haven't been this excited about a bike for years, my wife said I'm worse than the kids on christmas eve.
I just though I'd share it with you guys.
