First Ride
Hello to all,
Just bought my first bike a few days ago, '07 Softail Standard. Only been on it a couple times and already love it. Now that the rain is cleared out here in TN, hopefully I'll get even more time on it.
Got a good story about the purchase too. I had signed for the bike after getting off of work and end up finishing up all the paperwork after the shop had closed. In a hurry to get out, one of the techs went to cut the zip tie off of the brake lever and drive the knife right into the tank leaving a couple of scratches
. The shop was fast to say they would get it repainted, but just one of those unfortunate things. I felt bad for the tech too... he grabbed a cigarette and ran off, obviously upset.
Anyways, I couldn't ask for a better machine for my first bike to own.
