Hello everyone, just bought my first harley last saturday. I've been riding since i was able to hold up a bike but waited for 37 yrs to own a harley. It was bought with leftovers from my wifes life insurance, lost her the 24th of sept. Of course I couldnt wait to ride it after. My first ride of any count was with my son and his bike the following monday. Things happened that night, first a whole herd of deer on a blind curve, then the edge of the road and a dropoff, next i know my son is standing over me saying..dad.. dont move.. after trip to hospital and having some rods and pins inserted in me i found out i'd only gotten liability instead of full coverage on it so now i'm a widower with a broken harley but it still starts and sounds good. I'm hoping to find some resources for parts so I'll be able to piece it back together by spring time. I have a few before and after pics of it I'll post in a bit but cant be up too long right now at a time. At least I do own a harley instead of wishing i did. Keep the faith and ride safe.
