You could always retake the course on the bike. The main area you're likely to find that you need to practise is slow speed manouvers. If there is a car park (parking lot) near you which is empty one day a week (or something similar) this would be a good place to practise.
I always recommend starting off on something much lighter and less powerful than any Harley. But everyone is different and you didnt really ask this question.
All the welcomes are greatly appreciated guys. I hope to be asking a lot of question this week leading up to my purchase hopefully this weekend, so look out for a lot of newbie questions clogging the forums.

Happy Birthday for next week BTW.
I keep seeing other questions about starting off on a 883 or if they should get a smaller 250, but most responses I see say that they wish they would have have gotten the bigger bike or that they are happy they got what they really wanted. So I think I am going to just go straight to my Iron and just take it nice and easy, practicing in the parking lot next to my house.
