Hello all! I'm from California and after having some bad experiences with some mechanics during a custom build, I decided that the best way to get a job done right is to do it myself. I love bikes in general, all kinds. I really prefer old school bobbers. My first bike was a 2003 fatboy. I still have it and I've pretty much let the shop work on it. As I've been working on my custom bobber, I've been gaining the confidence to do as much work on my motorcycles on my own. Well, there really hasn't been anything majorly wrong with the '03 fatboy. I've been taking really good care of it over the years. It's been my most reliable bike. Now, I've been having some minor problems and I thought I'd join this forum to get some advice from some other motorcycle lovers.
