Hi all,
Just introducing myself. I have a 98 Heritage Softail. It's the bike of my dreams. I've had it for about a Year. My previous bike was an 04 Custom Sportster. I had that for 2 years an put 20,000 miles on it. I do most of my own work on the bike, I enjoy that almost as much as riding. I love this type format for information, there is so much to learn. I was a member of a similar one just for Sportys when I had mine.
Diesel,
Just joined myself. I am sitting in Boerne, Texas but grew up in Waco, Rambler Rd, half way between Fish Pond Road and Bosque. Good move to the Heritage Softail, they are awesome bikes. I rented one and road all over the Hill Country one weekend with my 4 brothers and my 21 yr. old son... what a blast. I bought my first Harley, Electra Glide Ultra Classic back in July, wanted a ride that I could take my wife along in "style" when we had the opportunity to do so. Growing up in Waco in my 20's, I had a Yamaha 650, Norton 850 and a Honda 750. WOW... what a change.
Have you ridden the Hill Country? The Three Sisters? If not, you need to. It is made for a Heritage. If you have, you know what I mean.
Enjoy your Heritage!
