i found this site searching the internet for bike related stuff. hdf kept coming up. i figured this is where all the knowledge is so i better join. i'm an online forum veteran in the offroad/jeep community but new to bikes. i grew up on dirtbikes and rode on the street in my late teens/early 20's. then i took a 15 year break. i've been riding daily for the last 5 years. my first harley was my beloved road king that got wrecked last summer.

i got a new bike and i love it. it's an '02 electraglide standard with lots of mods.
i love the e-glide but i want something a little leaner than the big bagger. i bought the road king back from the insurance co and plan to build a bar hopper out of it......with most of the stock frame and swingarm. i ordered $1500 in parts this morning of stuff i think i can make work. after that, i will have a lot of questions for y'all.
