Well, let me start by saying I'm not now a Harley owner. I have been in the past but currently own a different brand and even a different style ride. My hopes here are to re-acquaint myself with todays bikes and decide on the model that would suit me best. My current thoughts are between the Dyna (Super Glide Custom), and the Softail (?), and would love to hear the pros and cons of either model from current owners.
TIA spaceblue
Hi Space. I am also from Mass. and bought a 2010 Fatboy Lo in September. Traded in a '97 Fatboy for it and am really happy with the bike.
I went up to Seacoast in Hampton, N.H. for it.
I had other brands previously but love the softails.
What style and what kind of ride are you looking for?
Thanks for the welcomes, I'm looking forward to learning before I buy.
Also Thanks Bo, I'd guess I'd have to say I'd hold handling at a premium when it comes to riding style. I'm not going to be doing the long cross country rides I have in the past since my old lady can't do that anymore. So I'll be sticking to short day rides on the back roads of New England.
